Just before our friendly on a beatiful spring day, our men's Captain Andy Hardy presented Keith Merrin, the Paddock Wood captain with the Friendship Cup. This is the 3-way competition between Bearsted, Paddock Wood and New Romney played over he winter season. Gary Fagg from New Romney bowls club commented that Paddock Wood were well deserved winners of the Friendship Cup. He went on to say that, everybody who played in the games between the three clubs, were winners, noting that all games were played in good spirit and a lot of new friends were made.
