Join Our Club

There’s something special about being part of Bearsted & Thurnham Bowls Club — the friendly faces, the laughter around the green, and those long summer evenings spent playing a sport that’s as relaxing as it is competitive. Whether you’re here to play seriously, learn the ropes, or simply enjoy the social side, we’ve got a place for you.

Full Membership – £100 per year (£86 membership + £14 affiliation fee) 
Become a full member and enjoy unlimited play throughout the season, club competitions, leagues, coaching, and social events — all with your affiliation fees included.

Junior & Student Membership – just £15
For young players aged 8–18, and full-time students up to 23, membership is just £15 for the whole year. It’s a brilliant way to make new friends, learn a great sport, and enjoy time outdoors.

Social Membership – £15
Not ready to commit to full membership just yet? No problem! As a social member, you can play up to six times a year at the visitors’ rate of £2.50 per session, and you’re always welcome at our club events and socials.

We’re a volunteer-run club, so full members are asked to lend a hand with a couple of bar or tea duties each year — a small way to give back, and a great way to meet fellow members.

So whether you fancy a gentle roll-up, a competitive challenge, or just a chat over tea and biscuits, come and join us. You’ll soon see why so many people call Bearsted & Thurnham Bowls Club their second home.
